Five Simple Nutrition Tips for Writers

Let’s face it—when you’re a writer, living a sedentary lifestyle for several hours per week is commonplace. That’s definitely the case for me and not to mention, much of my time is spent in a very delightful and delicious neighborhood coffee shop with aromas of soft-baked cookies, homemade pies, and every calorie-ridden coffee concoction you can imagine. I need that coffee shop background noise since my creativity is stunted in pure silence; however, I do employ some strategies to prevent the treats from making their way in front of me and my computer. If you’re also a writer with never-ending deadlines, hitting the gym often takes a backseat. These five simple nutrition-based tips will do wonders for weight management and overall wellness without taking time out of your busy wordsmithing schedule.
