As someone who feels like they’re still in a very early stage of their author journey, I struggle to give advice, because I’m still figuring out what works for me. So my author tip would be to never stop seeking out advice and tips and tricks. Don’t let yourself get too stuck in your ways, because you might learn something new that makes your process and/or your writing better. Even if you think you have the perfect routine, the most effective way to write, one day that might change. Already having some ideas for how to switch things up will help prevent that day from feeling like the end of your writing career.

He’s barely able to run his life—he’s never paid a bill on time, routinely gets lost on the way to work, and would rather gouge out his own eyes than deal with office politics.
